Ceramic & textures workshop
1 session, 2 hours , max 2-3 participants, 80 EUR per person
Anca Vintila Dragu, ceramic artist and designer, will introduce you in the universe of Una ca Luna ceramic studio where you can experiment with stoneware or white clay, by modeling and texturing it with different materials and plants. Plants are a „forever green” source of inspiration for ceramic artists.
We will discuss concept, creation and realization, attention to detail. We will be prepared with punctual demonstration of modeling and texture imprint on ceramic.
In this session of this course the participant will be able to create 2 objects, such as plate, cup, bowl, decorated with plants imprints.
The objects will be bisque fired by the tutor, decorated with pigments or metallic oxides, then glazed for the final firing. We will schedule a time for picking up the pieces after firing.
Slip casting workshop
2 sessions, 4-5 hours, max 2 participants, 200 EUR per Person
Anca Vintila Dragu, ceramic artist and designer, will introduce you to the universe of Una ca Luna ceramic studio where you can experiment working with porcelain and slip casting technique.
Slip casting is the technique factories use for multiplication of objects. This process is scaled and adapted to studio work by ceramic artists. During this workshop you will be able to understand the casting process and have a go at creating some objects using our studio molds.
You can create 2-3 objects, such as cups, plates, bowls using white or colored porcelain slip. The objects will then be bisque fired for the 2nd session when you will decorate and glaze your objects. The objects can be picked up after firing in a timeframe of 7-10 days.

Paint your own porcelain treasure!
1 session, 2h, max 4 participants, 60 EUR per Person
Anca Vintila Dragu, ceramic artist and designer, will guide you through the process of painting on porcelain. The onglaze decoration technique is very pleasant and rewarding, especially if you like drawing or painting. You will be assisted by Anca in creating your own design for the object you pick to decorate. Your porcelain piece will be then fired for color fixing and picked up from the studio after firing.
The satisfaction of having your own hand painted cup is guaranteed!
ROLL- CUT- LINK – BUILD
1 session, 1.5 h, max 2 participants, 60 EUR per Person
This workshop will introduce you to the universe of a ceramic studio where you can be the creator of a construction made of ceramic slabs. A tower, a house, geometric structures according to your labyrinthic or structured mind will come out of your hands.
What you will learn:
- How to roll ceramic slabs
- How to build a ceramic object manually
- How to cut shapes from ceramic slabs
- How to assemble the shapes and build a tridimensional miniature sculpture
The objects can be picked up after firing in a timeframe of 7-10 days.

For the MARŢIŞOR and jewelry lovers, Una ca Luna invites you to a workshop of modelling and painting on porcelain.
Each participant will create his own pieces from porcelain. Ou come with a good mood and spring vibe and we offer you materials, special ceramic colors, guidance to create little jewelry pieces ready to be offered as brooches or pendants.
